Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • 1. I am a graduate student at the University of Calgary.
  • 2. I confirm that this is my own original research OR I have confirmed with all co-authors and researchers that they support this submission and will list all co-authors in Step 3 of this submission process.
  • 3. I have used the proposal template, which can be found in the Author Guidelines below.
  • 4. If accepted, I will be prepared to present this work at the next Peer Beyond Graduate Research Conference on February 18 and 19, 2026 at the University of Calgary.

Accepted Formats

·         Classic Talks (10 min + 2 min Q&A)

·         Poster (5 min + Q&A)

·         Workshop (90 min)

SUBMISSION STEPS

  1. Download and complete the 2026 Peer Beyond Proposal Form.
  2. Submit your details using the “Make a submission” link above (located above the checklist).
    • Note: If you do not have an OJS account, you will need to make one then login.
  3. In your submission, indicate your preferred format (Classic Talk, Poster, or Workshop) in the Comments to the Editor field.
    • Note: If you have co-authors/co-researchers, confirm their support and include their names in your submission.

Accepted presenters who participate in Peer Beyond will be eligible to publish in the conference proceedings after the conference.
