Résumé

Canadian higher education practitioners working in the area of academic integrity encounter challenges when attempting to locate and share information, research and resources. This article reviews these challenges to help underscore the need for this new open journal.

Brandy Leigh Usick, University of Calgary

Brandy Usick is the Director of Student Advocacy and Accessibility (comprised of Student Advocacy, Student Accessibility Services and PlayCare Centre) at the University of Manitoba. Brandy is currently a doctoral student at the University of Calgary. She provides leadership to three university-wide working groups that focus on institutional issues including academic integrity, student accommodation, and childcare. Through consultation and committee work, she provides direction on student support services, programs, and policies. Brandy frequently presents sessions and delivers workshops on a variety of matters related to students. She is a member of several professional organizations dedicated to student services.
