Peer Beyond Graduate Research Conference
Vol. 1 No. 1 (2025)This publication celebrates a milestone for the Peer Beyond Graduate Research Conference, an annual interdisciplinary event hosted by the University of Calgary Graduate Students' Association since 2017. For the first time, the 2025 conference, held on February 19 and 20, features its own proceedings. Compiled by Publication Chair Ayoola Oladele and a dedicated team of volunteers, these proceedings showcase 27 extended abstracts, short papers, and poster papers. They highlight some of the remarkable research being conducted by University of Calgary graduate students, featuring work from across various disciplines at the university.

Vol. 2 No. 1 (2026)The Peer Beyond Graduate Research Conference is an annual interdisciplinary conference hosted by the Graduate Students' Association at the University of Calgary. We are thrilled to announce the release of the 2026 proceedings from the February Peer Beyond Conference. Spearheaded by Publication Chair Ayoola Oladele and a dedicated team of volunteers, the newly released 2026 volume compiles 27 peer-reviewed extended abstracts, short papers, and poster papers. Spanning fields from artificial intelligence, biological sciences, medicine, and environmental engineering to community health, education, and the humanities, the collection captures a vibrant cross-section of the boundary-pushing research happening at the University of Calgary.
