Responsibilities of Communications Coordinator
- Creating, editing, and sharing weekly content through social media platforms (primarily Instagram and LinkedIn)
- Collaborating with internal teams to build and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
- Monitoring social media channels for member feedback, questions, and concerns and responding
- Using social media tools to track and analyze social media performance and report on key metrics
- Working closely with the Outreach Coordinator
- Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), grammar, presentation, and communication skills
- Social networking experience and basic graphic design skills (primarily Canva however experience with Photoshop, AdobeInDesign, etc, is considered an asset)
- Able to work individually and as a team

Responsibilities of Outreach Coordinator
- Finding organizations and people of influence willing to coordinate with the Motley and reaching out to them
- Collaborating with internal teams to build and excecute outreach strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
- Monitoring outreach channels for possible connections with the Motley
- Keeping the Managing Editor aware of all external communication and outreach efforts
- Working closely with the Communications Coordinator
Requirements for the Role
- Excellent writing, grammar, presentation, and formal communication skills
- Social networking experience and understanding of how to coordinate between multiple groups
- Able to work individually and as a team
