Résumé

In this paper a bridge between humanistic studies and statistics is constructed using the works of Keats, Plato, and Shakespeare. Since the ideas put forth are fundamental in nature, the discussion should inspire a search for other connections. Furthermore, some of the concepts developed are not unique to statistics, thus allowing for their application to other areas of business.
