Résumé

There is a wide variety of spiritual experiences among young adults today. Some have developed a personal faith link with the religion of their infancy. Others are searching. Some become consumers of conventional religions. Others maintain that they have their own spiritual experience, after rejecting all religions. The comparative analysis of these data, done with three typologies built along complementary aspects of the individual's spiritual development, has revealed the existence of the same mental structures at comparable levels of the typologies. This research offers insights relevant to the ongoing revision of teacher education programs in many Canadian universities.
