Abstract

The phenomenological methodology provides a framework for this project documenting the lived experiences of distributed learning support block teachers working in the Surrey School District. The distributed learning block is an A La Carte blended learning environment. Through a series of video interviews participants will answer questions about the teacher's role and strategies used in these environments. As the compilation of these videos is still under way, this presentation will outline the research process thus far. The goal of the project is to create a resource that will help to direct future practices of distributed learning block teachers and other teachers working in A La Carte blended learning environments.
