Author Biography

Nancy Allen, Université du Québec en Outaouais

Recipient of the Excellence Scholarship FQRSC (2013-2016), Nancy Allen is very active in research since joining the Doctorate program in Education in 2012. She is particularly interested in the didactics of both oral and reading among teachers and elementary students. In addition to being a full time student, Nancy is Editor of the French section of The Canadian Journal for New Scholars in Education. She also is an occasional research assistant, an active member of two research groups (AIRDF and CRIFPE) and is a lecturer at Université du Québec en Outaouais. Her thesis, entitled "Enseignement et verbalisation de stratégies métacognitives de compréhension orale en langue d’enseignement au 3e cycle du primaire" will be completed in July 2016.
