Laura Savu, University of South Carolina-Columbia
I earned my PhD in English from theUniversity of North Carolina, Greensboro, in May 2006. Currently an adjunct instructor at the University of South Carolina-Columbia, I have also taught as an Assistant Professor in the Modern Languages Department at the University of Bucharest. In addition to my book PostmodernPostmodernists: The Afterlife of the Author in Recent Narrative (2009), I have published essays and reviews in Studies in American Culture, Intertexts, Prose Studies, Papers on Language and Literature, ARIEL, symploke, and the online journal [Inter]sections. My research interests include modern Anglophone literatures, lifewriting, affect theory, and cultural studies.
