Résumé

This paper provides a detailed description of a cross-cultural border crossing initiative that is open to all students in their final semester of a university teacher preparation program. This fourth semester option, referred to as "Teaching Across Borders." provides an opportunity for all those who participate to make deep meaning of lived experiences, and to view their place in the world and their teaching praxis, through an enriched, expanded. and multi-faceted lens. The design elements and pedagogical underpinnings of the "Teaching Across Borders" initiative are identified, as are the benefits for all those who choose to participate.
