Abstract

This paper is based on a research project in progress (Roberge & Beaudoin, submitted), and maintains the objective of studying the content of bullying prevention and intervention policies in Canadian provinces and territories. A content analysis of these policies has been conducted in order to determine to which extent they adhere to promising anti-bullying practices identified in extant research. An instrument created and validated by Smith, Smith, Osborne & Samara (2008) and Roberge & Beaudoin (submitted) was utilized for the analysis of these policies. The results presented discuss the strengths and limitations of proficient bullying prevention and intervention practices that have been established in Canadian provinces and territories.
