Abstract

When innovative medical programs were developed, such as those at McMaster University and the University of Calgary in the 1960s and later at Harvard, one of the worries of the teaching staff surrounded rigorous internal assessment throughout the program so that their students would not be disadvantaged on the required national or transnational examinations. [...] will the equally interesting articles on preparing teachers to manage school bullying, on the analogies between the humanities and statistics, and on the metaphor of "finding the blue note" as a metaphor for teaching practice.
