Critique du livre de Clémence Perronnet (2021). La bosse des maths n’existe pas – Rétablir l’égalité des chances dans les matières scientifiques
Abstract
Cet article met de l’avant une critique du livre intitulé « La bosse des maths n’existe pas - Rétablir l’égalité des chances dans les matières scientifiques » de Clémence Perronnet publié en 2021. La première partie de l’article résume les six chapitres de l’ouvrage, et la seconde, aborde plus généralement l’apport du livre au domaine de l’éducation et à la question des inégalités en sciences. Dans son livre, l’auteure cherche à montrer qu.il n’existe pas de compétences naturelles pour les sciences mais que la société entretient ces croyances par la persistance d’inégalités qui défavorisent les femmes, les minorités ethno-racialisées et les classes populaires.
