Nancy Allen, Université du Québec en Outaouais
Recipient of the Excellence Scholarship FQRSC (2013-2016), Nancy Allen is very active in research since joining the Doctorate program in Education in 2012. She is particularly interested in the didactics of both oral and reading among teachers and elementary students. In addition to being a full time student, Nancy is Editor of the French section of The Canadian Journal for New Scholars in Education. She also is an occasional research assistant, an active member of two research groups (AIRDF and CRIFPE) and is a lecturer at Université du Québec en Outaouais. Her thesis, entitled "Enseignement et verbalisation de stratégies métacognitives de compréhension orale en langue d’enseignement au 3e cycle du primaire" will be completed in July 2016.
Ugo Collard Fortin, Université du Québec à Chicoutimi
Suite à ses études de premier cycle en enseignement des sciences et technologie (S&T) au secondaire, Ugo a travaillé pendant trois ans dans le milieu scolaire comme enseignant. En parallèle, il a poursuivi ses études de deuxième cycle au programme de maîtrise en science de l'éducation à l’intérieur desquelles il a conduit une recherche s’intéressant aux pratiques éducatives d’enseignants en éducation relative à l'environnement (ERE). Depuis lors chargé de cours en didactique des S&T et doctorant en éducation à l’Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, il s’intéresse actuellement aux pratiques exemplaires en éducation technologique. Il est également boursier du FRQSC.
