Author Biography

PJ Rusnak, University of British Columbia

PJ is a mother, teacher, multimedia designer and graduate student at UBC. With theoretical interests in activist game design, learning and cognition, I am trying to better understand how the world and the human spirit are shaped by the living landscape of technology. My dissertation research investigates what lies at the intersection of youth-driven design in immersive game-worlds and real-world issues of social justice.
