Abstract

Sudeep Sen: Selected Conversations and Interviews marks a seminal moment in Indian publishing in English, specifically in poetry. The book archives twenty-seven erudite interviews and conversations with the internationally acclaimed poet Sudeep Sen. Probably, for the first time an Indian publisher has brought out an exclusive compilation of interviews with a contemporary Indian poet. The book is anchored in scholarly exchanges that would be immensely useful for academics, researchers and students of literature. The book presents Sudeep Sen as a global artist whose work has interested poets, teachers and literary enthusiasts across the world. Jhilam Chattaraj, RBVRR Women's College, Hyderabad, India

Jhilam Chattaraj is an academic and poet based in Hyderabad, India. She is an Assistant Professor at the Department of English and Foreign Languages, RBVRR Women's College. She has authored the books, Corporate Fiction: Popular Culture and the New Writers (2018) and the poetry collection When Lovers Leave and Poetry Stays (2018). Her works have been published at Room, Queen Mob’s Tea House, Colorado Review, World Literature Today and Asian Cha among others. She received the CTI excellence award in “Literature and Soft Skills Development”, 2019 from the Council for Transforming India and the Department of Language and Culture, Government of Telangana, India.
