Shilpa Bhat Daithota. <i>Indians in Victorian Children’s Narratives: Animalizing the Native, 1830-1930</i>

Sharon Smulders teaches children’s literature and nineteenth-century poetry at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Interested in questions of gender, race and representation, she has published articles on the work of writers as various as Beatrice Culleton Mosionier, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Eleanor Estes, Christina Rossetti and Ann and Jane Taylor.
