Ramesh Mallipeddi. <i>Spectacular Suffering: Witnessing Slavery in the Eighteenth-Century British Atlantic</i>

Morgan Vanek is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at the University of Calgary. She specializes in Restoration and eighteenth-century literature, with a focus on the politics of writing about weather and climate, travel literature, and cultural studies of science.  Her work has appeared in the Journal for Eighteenth-Century Studies, Eighteenth-Century Fiction, and Literature Compass.
