Himmet Umunç, Baskent University
Himmet Umunç works in the Department of American Culture and Literature at Baskent University, Ankara, Turkey. Until 2015 he was the Head of the same department as well as being Director of the School of English Language. He taught in the Department of English Language and Literature at Hacettepe University, Ankara, for more than four decades and served as head of that department. He is currently the Director of IDEA, the Turkish Association for English Studies.

Laurence Raw teaches in the Department of English at Baskent University, Ankara. His previous publications include volumes on the Turkish theater (2008) and Exploring Turkish Cultures (2011) that contained extensive analysis of the state of English and other humanities in Turkish institutions.
