Mario Trono is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at Mount Royal University. He is co-founder of Under Western Skies, a biennial, interdisciplinary conference in the environmental humanities. He recently published a collection (with Robert Boschman), Found in Alberta: Environmental Themes for the Anthropocene (WLUP) and is under contract with that press for a monograph on ecocinema.
