Chelva Kanaganayakam
Chelva Kanaganayakam is a professor of English at the University of Toronto. His publications include Counterrealism and Anglo-Indian Fiction (2002), Dark Antonyms and Paradise: The Poetry of Rienzi Crusz (1997), Configurations of Exile: South Asian Writers and Their World (1995), Stuctures of Negation: The Writings of Zulfikar Ghose (1993). He has edited Arbiters of a National Imaginary: Essays on Sri Lanka (2008), Moveable Margins: The Shifting Spaces of Canadian Literature (2005), Lutesong and Lament: Tamil Writing from Sri Lanka (2001). His translations include You Cannot Turn Away (poetry 2011), Wilting Laughter: Three Tamil Poets (2009), and Ritual (novel, 2011).
