Tara Brabazon, University of Brighton U.K.

Tara Brabazon T.M.Brabazon@brighton.ac.uk is Professor of Media Studies at the University of Brighton U.K., Visiting Professor of Edge Hill University U.K. and Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce (RSA).Previously, Tara has held academic positions in both Australia and Aotearoa/New Zealand. She is the author of eleven books including Digital Hemlock: Internet Education and the Poisoning of Teaching (Sydney: University of New South Wales Press, 2002), The University of Google: Education in the (post) Information Age (Aldershot: Ashgate, 2007), The Revolution will not be Downloaded: Dissent in the Digital Age (Oxford: Chandos, 2008), and Thinking Popular Culture: War, Writing and Terrorism (Aldershot: Ashgate, 2008).She has also written over a hundred refereed articles and is a regular columnist for the Times Higher Education.
