La santé psychologique des personnes étudiantes aux cycles supérieurs : parlons-en!
Abstract
Cet éditorial aborde la nécessité de soutenir la santé psychologique des personnes étudiantes aux cycles supérieurs, une population particulièrement touchée par des enjeux de santé mentale tels que l’anxiété et la dépression. Ces derniers s’avèrent amplifiés par des facteurs comme la pression académique, le perfectionnisme, la compétition entre pairs et des normes élevées de performance au sein de ce milieu élitiste. Des pistes d’action sont proposées en fin d’éditorial, notamment des initiatives pour améliorer les conditions d’apprentissage, diminuer l’isolement, renforcer le soutien institutionnel et encourager de saines habitudes de vie. En somme, l’éditorial invite surtout à considérer la nécessité d’un changement de culture académique, en plaçant l’humain au cœur des priorités pour concilier réussite en recherche et épanouissement collectif.
