This is the first record of Greenland halibut in the Beaufort Sea and Arctic Ocean. The Greenland halibut were captured in the Atlantic water layer of the Beaufort Sea at a depth of approximately 430 m, with a temperature of 0.3 C and salinity of 34.8 parts per million.
