Papers on Postsecondary Learning and Teaching (PPLT) began when Conference organizers recognized a need to publish scholarly proceedings from the Conference, to provide unrestricted access to a wider public and give scholars the opportunity to publish in a peer-reviewed format, which meets internationally accepted scholarly standards. Supported by a 2015 University of Calgary Teaching and Learning Grant and managed by the Education Development Unit, Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning, the first issue was published following the 2016 Conference.
