Focus and Scope

We are seeking explorations in new knowledge in addition to traditional research paradigms considers teaching and learning in nursing education.  Potential areas of inquiry include:

- Research impact studies

-Policy impact and change

-Practitioner inquiry regarding teaching in the nursing profession

-Teaching foundations for Nursing (Math, Science, English)

-Experiences of Nursing educators, Nursing learners, and Nursing professionals

-Social/cultural inquiries into Nursing

-Professional development programs in the Nursing profession

-Nursing leadership in international contexts

-Transnational Nursing curriculum

-Change in the Nursing profession

-Self-studies regarding new ideas in teaching Nursing

-Environmental factors and Nursing

We also welcome expressions of interest to complete book reviews.

Peer Review Process

Manuscripts will be subjected to the blind peer review process (2 reviewers). Each reviewer will have subject matter expertise in the area of focus and experience with publication and the blind review process.  The principle for the review process will emphasize constructive commentary. All reviewers will be expected to respond with their review within a one month (1) time frame.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
