Emerging Perspectives: Interdisciplinary Graduate Research in Education and Psychology (EPIGREP) is seeking applications for a volunteer Journal Manager!

EPIGREP is a double-blind peer review academic journal led by graduate students at the University of Calgary. The first issue was published in 2017 and the latest issue (Volume 4, No 2) was published on June 30th 2020.

The journal is hosted by The University of Calgary Library and Cultural Resources and led by an editorial board of graduate students and recent PhD graduates, supported by Faculty advisors.

General responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  1. Coordinating reviewer onboarding;
  2. Monitoring the journal’s email account;
  3. Assigning manuscripts to editors;
  4. Laying out manuscripts according to the journal’s set format;
  5. Publishing issues on a set schedule; and,
  6. Managing the journal’s social media presence.

No experience necessary, though an eye for design, organizational skills, or project management experience will be an asset. Applications from students in all programs will be considered!
