Sandra Chamberlain-Snider, University of Victoria

Sandra Chamberlain-Snider is a PhD Candidate in Theatre History at the University of Victoria in Victoria, British Columbia. Beyond the scope of theatre history, her research interests are primarily the histories of children and youth in theatrical performance but include all the untold histories, oral and ephemeral, that have difficulty entering the archive. Her MA thesis (2013) from the University of British Columbia is Arts Umbrella’s Theatre Troupes: A History of Theatre Training for Children and Youth. She is also a long-time volunteer in Vancouver, British Columbia’s independent theatre community.
