Your purpose in Module 1-2 is to become familiar with your teammates and how you will work with them to complete your work. In order to create a quality final product for your Challenge Project, you will need to work effectively as a team. Teamwork requires skills like clear communication, understanding roles & responsibilities, planning schedules, and managing differing viewpoints. Throughout the term, you'll be asked to assess together how your team is functioning and to identify your strengths and areas for improved teamwork. You'll also be asked to take on specific roles and tasks for your team and to plan your work. In this module, you will lay the groundwork for functioning as an effective team.

Module Objective:

After completing this module, you should be able to:

• Explain the project processes and roles and establish your team processes.

• Meet your team and find your team group space in Canvas.
• Do a team building exercise and assess how your team functioned.
• Create a Team Agreement.
